Natsynoo's Perfect Panamian Adventure: DCL EBPC Oct 2018 - Day 6 At Sea

We woke up at 7.10am this morning and it was still dark outside. As it lightened up, it was clearly a bit cloudy and stormy. We decided not to rush up on this basis, so dozed until 8.30am.

We got up and headed to Cabanas for breakfast. We decided to have omelettes, which were made to order. Matt also indulged in his daily bagel with Nutella.

We went for a walk on deck, and concluded it was warm enough to sit out as the sun was trying to break through. We sat by the adults pool, and stayed there until lunchtime at 12.45pm. We bumped into some pals on our walk!

Lunch at Cabanas today was an Asian theme.

After lunch, we returned to the pool until 4.20pm, when we headed downstairs, to get ready for the evening ahead.

Today’s show was another new variety act called ‘All That’ who are a clogging group. They described clogging as a cross between tap and Irish dancing. But as a group of pretty young lads, it was very modern and relevant. We saw them a lot around the ship, as they got really involved in cruise life, and it was really lovely! They were in America’s Got Talent twice and there’s tonnes of footage of them on You Tube if anyone wants to check them out! I loved it!

After the show, we spotted that the Panama Canal voyage magnet had been put out in the shop, so we grabbed one of those before they sold out ($11.69 including discount).

Then it was down to the Crown & Fin for a game of draughts. I had a virgin mojita and Matt had a Coke, which came to $7.71; and Matt enjoyed some chicken wings (his favourite!). I won the draughts by the way.

Before dinner, we managed to squeeze in a couple of greets with our Disney pals – Donald, Pluto and Minnie – in their Mexican gear.

Dinner was back at Animator’s Palate tonight.

Matt had the Serrano Ham

Followed by the Potato Cheddar Soup

I had the Black Truffle Pursiettes and Champagne Sauce

IMG_1336 by Natalie Pope, on Flickr

Matt had the Herb Crusted Pork Chop for entrée

IMG_1340 by Natalie Pope, on Flickr

I had the Beef Tenderloin

IMG_1339 by Natalie Pope, on Flickr

Matt had the cheesecake to round things off

IMG_1342 by Natalie Pope, on Flickr

And I enjoyed the Lemon Icebox Tart

Sorceror Mickey did his special Animation Magic show tonight – this show is set to the music of Fantasmic

After dinner, we completed the set of Mexican Pals greets, with Goofy, Chip & Dale and of course, Mickey

Yes, all dining room food and snacks out on deck are included. There is a speciality restaurant (or 2) on each ship which is an additional charge and popcorn/snacks on the way into the theatre aren't included.

It is all so yummy! We only had a couple of 'misses' on the cruise plus our general feedback that some of the menus were a bit samey by the end
