Cat boats + Mount Dora

With regards to Mount Dora where would you recommend to park?
Is the Lighthouse walking distance from the main area of Mt Dora?

Can you walk from the main area to the cat boats or is that a totally different area.

There's a car park at the end of S Tremain Street, by the park, which is only a few minutes from where you meet. The lighthouse is right by the cat boat jetty. It's not a very big place so easy to walk everywhere.

We did the seaplane from Mount Dora to Tavares and got a cab back - you can park at the Lakeside Inn by the seaplane if you're going on the plane. Definitely worth doing! The views were wonderful.

There's a train too, which wasn't running when we were there, and you can combine the two.

There are also sightseeing big boats to go on. They also go down the canal, which is stunning.

There are lots of shops, especially gifts and antiques, and restaurants. Nice architecture too.
