You can see why they were ex cons and not just bad lads that have never been caught.

that was funny, you can see the folk who haven't kept with the times in terms of technology tracking phones, numberplates etc.

My personal favourite though was one of the early series the two ex army guys who spent the first half of the program crawling through a field in ghillie suits (secret forces style ultra high camouflage) i.e. showing off. They then got caught basically because they decided to meet friends for a curry in Blackpool town centre

It's a tv programme, cleverly/heavily edited. I tend to take it with a pinch of salt.

this programme wind me up something rotten,

each week they say we haven't heard about "x" for over a week but within seconds they have thought of a friend they may have spoken too and boom, the ground team is already 30 mins away,

Now I know that some of the hacking phones / ANPR is only for show as they wouldn't actually be allowed to do it, but having a TV crew with the hunted must be a massive give away as they'll have THEIR phones on with the GPS running.

end of RANT.

A friend of mine has been approached by the production company to see if he would like to take part (he was registered to take part on The Island but was only 1st reserve, so never made it). The trouble is that Ade would not be able to go without seeing his boys for the duration. There's been a couple of evenings spent "planning" and working out how many burner phones we'd need and where he'd go etc.
