We've opted for Edinburgh, it wasn't my first choice as we've been a few times before, but the girls like it, and I got a really good deal on an apartment in Leith. I found them on Hoseasons but they wouldn't let me book online, I got sick of being on hold, so googled the apartments and was able to book direct for less.

3 nights for £167 for 2 bedrooms. I've gone for 3 bedrooms for £230 which will save a few arguments...

For that price, I couldn't miss it, even the basic caravans were coming in more expensive.

You deff done the right thing thats a great price especially for the standard of apartment. I had a look yesterday for a short break for us and caravans/airbnb were expensive compared to hotels.

Those are the apartments we stay in when we go to Edinburgh. The No. 10 bus takes you right into town, the bus stop is directly across the road from the apartments and there's a big Asda just around the corner.
