Waitlist for resorts

How long before you go would you learn if you managed to get the resort you really want if you are on the waitlist for it. Probably been covered before but thanks for any feedback.

It depends on how many are waitlisted for tbe same dates ahed of you and if space actually gets freed up.

I think waitlists are automatically cancelled 30 days before check in if not fulfilled

As Gavvy said, it depends when and if it becomes available. You can also select to keep your waitlist request open until 7 days prior to your holiday but the default is 30 days.

Fingers crossed, we've mostly been lucky with our waitlists, although i'm hoping to change our 1 bed in April to a 2 bed, I really don't think that one's going to come through.

It helps if you are only waitlisted for 1 or 2 days as if 4 of the 5 days you need become available they wont allocate them to you. They only fill tbe entire block you need.
