First time DVC rental
We are doing a couple of nights at an AKL DVC studio renting points, as managed to get reward flights but going a few days before our original booking-oh no extra days at Disney how sad! If it works out I may well be renting more in future. Obviously we will find out for ourselves but just wonder what other advantages/disadvantages there are to renting.
It won’t affect us this time as we are staying less than 4 nights but I know if we were renting longer we would only get towels and toiletries refreshed every 4 days. I read rooms have coffee makers do they provide coffee too-very important when driving from airport! I also understand DVC rental will always include parking which will be a big advantage. Have I missed anything? I also had a couple of questions about this stay, I seem to remember reading somewhere that DVC has its own check in is that right and as we are staying at Kidani village is the check in there or the main building. Also what are the kitchenettes like. We probably wouldnt do more than breakfast in the room but just wondering Thanks for any help Edited at 10:17 AM. |

Kidani is a separate hotel, it's huge, lobby isn't as big as Jambo but it has its own big check in.
Coffee is in room but only replaced when cleaning done so you'll probably want to buy some. Go on YouTube and type in Kidani DVC studio to see dozens of videos. Kitchens in studios are fridge microwave and sink. In 1 beds it's a full kitchen. If you don't want to go shopping I'd recommend using Instacart and getting a grocery delivery.
