Some will start coming down right after new year, but I believe the bulk are removed around the marathon weekend which is January 8-12 next year.

This year all the resorts and park stuff was still up by the time we left on the 4th Jan.
With the exception being Epcot and lots of the world showcase stuff was down and the festival of the holidays booths and shows stopped on the 30th. Also in between Christmas and new year they had a lot of the things that had been exclusive to the Christmas parties at Mk such as Christmas wishes, the Christmas parade and the castle lighting. By 1st Jan it was back to HEA. Also the fantasy in the sky fireworks on the 30th and 31st at Mk we’re truly breathtaking. I’ve got a Christmas trip report up if you want to see what it was like over Christmas and new year. Edited at 05:02 PM. |

When I was there last year things started to come down from around the 4th/5th January onwards but some are quicker than others. For example, at the resort (POR) everything came down overnight from one day to another. Same in Disney Springs. But in the parks they did it in phases as I guess there is so much ground to cover.
