Booking before free ddp offer

I read it on another thread (can’t remember if it was on here or somewhere else) with Galaxys edge opening that they would want to keep hotels free for other guests.

Sounds logical to me. The allocation last year for this year was lower than recent years.

POFQ had really limited availability on release for free dining 2019. For us in May not a particularly busy time there were no standard rooms, only garden view.

Thank you all 😊 it’s always been my dream to stay at POFQ but the children or numbers were stacked against me before now. It will be a shame if it doesn’t become available if/ when free ddp appears. We have our eye on POR, CBR or some of the values if not. Hopefully we will find something at one of those 🤞🏻

According to portorleans.org there are only 248 standard view rooms at POFQ against 518 garden view, 147 river view, 36 pool view and 59 king bedded rooms, so it doesn't surprise me that the standard rooms sell out quick.
