Newcastle Airport parking options?
I'm wondering if I can drop off my passengers then park in long stay and walk back to the terminal?
If not should I pick short stay or meet and greet which are about the same price with my code. |

Yes you could drop off your passengers first and then go to go to long stay and walk. It normally costs a £1 to go through the drop off area. Newcastle Airport parking is pretty close to the terminal-I would say it’s almost like parking at your local supermarket! To be truthful I never park there, I only use the drop off area. Someone else who normally parks long stay can give you a better idea. Hope that is a bit of help!

The Express Car Park is now £2.00 for 10 minutes. You can stay in the Short Stay 2 for free for up to 15 minutes which is actually right next to the top part of the Long Stay. Never parked there though as I only live a 12 minute drive away but can't imagine it being too far to walk. See map.

It’s not far from long stay at all but there is a bus if you have luggage or end up right st the furthest point. We always stick together but you can go in the drop off zone for free if you are quick then circle around to the long stay.

Oh Phil tells me the drop off is no longer free. I’m usually the one getting dropped off so I hadn’t realised!

We are lazy and usually pay for the short stay car park but long stay is nothing more than a five minute walk.
I find the cost difference with voucher codes very little so just pay the extra few pound to be straight outside. Dawn

There's a 10% off code, same code that's been used for month's, "PARK10"

Depends where you get parked in long stay but it's very close to the terminal at the top end but there is always a bus doing the rounds to drop you off.
The only free drop of is in the garage but it's a bit of a pain to walk from there to the terminal

Thanks for the replies. I decided to go short stay in the end just to avoid any hassle on our return.
If it's any use to anyone I used code HILL16 which took a good chunk off the short stay. NGPARK took more off the long stay and meet and greet. |
