Best Disney buffet breakfast - no characters

Hi,

We had breakfast at Boma on our trip in 2017 and really enjoyed it, so I wanted to book another breakfast for our upcoming trip in May.

Does anyone have a favourite characterless onsite buffet breakfast they can recommend?

We like the Wave at the CR there is a buffet or a choice of A la carte, but we found most things on the menu were on the buffet
I would recommend

Love the wave at the contemporary, great choice of food for breakfast great service and it’s not to big so never seems crowded Like some Disney restaurants

Buffet without characters limits you to Boma, The Wave and Trail's End. The latter two are quite reasonably priced for Disney as well - I'm assuming you're OOP since countdown mentions APs.

My favourite TS breakfast is Kona, but it's not buffet.

Would highly recommend Trails End. Be careful if you go as weekends are brunch which we found was not quite as good as breakfast.

It’s no coincidence all three are probably the best buffets on property.

The Ale & Compass has a breakfast buffet too. Not tried it, but would bet it is a decent one.

Thanks! Haven't looked at the menu for this in a while, it was originally only a la carte IIRC.

But just to mention that it's not a full buffet. Hot entree is plated, then only continental items on buffet. This would actually make me more likely to go there, but I know some people prefer everything to be on the buffet lines.

I think you may have already peaked with the character-less buffets as Boma is my favourite!

But I can also thoroughly recommend The Wave.
