We’ve been to Jamaica four times, twice in rainy season and it wouldn’t put me off booking again in the rainy season. Yes it rained, but we got just as much rain at the other times. I think we’ve lost a few full days to rain over the course of the total of time we were there but no more than 2 days out of each of our 14 night stays.

What’s the worry? Rain or hurricane season? I’m no seasoned Caribbean visitor but I’d say May is fine. July-sept would be no go for me.

Been to the Caribbean in June two times and the weather hasn’t been a problem. Did it in January too and that seemed just as wet.

Quick showers but nothing that bothered us too much.

Been to Cuba at the end of May and from memory we had rain on 3 days out of 7. Each time it was a late afternoon and lasted for an hour or so. We took this as our cue to get showered before dinner and by the time we were ready, the weather was beautiful again

Thanks, wasn’t sure if it was similar to Florida that time of year or a bit more rainy .
