Airline bags
The recent posts about a BA 747 being painted in its retro BOAC livery got me thinking about the bags they used to give to passengers. The bags (copies) became ‘fashionable’ for us school kids in the 60’s and the more exotic the airline was the cooler the bag. Mine was a bog standard BEA (British European Airways) which merged with BOAC to form BA in 1974 I think.
My mate had a genuine Pan-Am one - he was the coolest kid in school. Anyone else of a ‘certain age’ remember them? |
