Just heard universal are starting their holiday celebrations from the 16th November with the Macy.s parade and the light show on Hogwarts and other stuff! So just booked RPR for the 17th very excited

Hey all! We technically fly out 24th Oct but as we’ll be at WDW until 14th Nov staying in AKL, I thought I’d come say hi to everyone in this group as well 😊

So quick introduction; it’ll be me, my 22yr old brother (who has autism, epilepsy & global development delay), DS who’ll be 11 & DD who’ll be 10. This will be mine & my bro’s 4th trip & the kids 3rd to WDW but we’re being brave this time & throwing Universal into the mix - staying at RPR 3-5th of Nov. Also flying from Gatwick & into MCO for the first time (for both airports) as well as staying at AKL for the first time, so yea... I’m a ‘little’ nervous this time having never taken the 3 of them away on my own without another adult & doing so many new things but fingers crossed we survive lol 😂😂

Yes getting closer
We have all the money ready to pay off holiday and just adding a bit more on the spending, I’ve booked my must do ADR’s but only a few this time.
Planned all the days so far ready for fast passes and booked RPR for one night half way through.
Going to upgrade the magic bands shortly 👏👏
I’ve still got to do the esta’s
And lose 3 stone then good to go! Lol 🤣🤣

Holiday covered and still saving spends.

Eagerly awaiting ADR day and have a full plan now.

I started at about 490 days so it feels much much closer now

upgraded return flights today (all via text too!) from PE to UC using miles (they were originally miles tickets anyway but just needed to keep watching for UC to become available). Happy to travel out PE.
Have accomodation booked in Treasure Island and we're there for thanksgiving and black friday online sales so I know we'll get excellent bargains. Can sit in the sun and do my online Xmas shopping. It's a bit of a tradition now.

Our park passes are paid and we have them!
We have the funds to pay off the flights and hotel but holding off until the travel agents have given us our flight reservation number.
I've done all our ADRs but we've only got like 4 I think haha

We've booked disney tickets. Got a bargain through a friend at their work and paid £307 per adult for a 14 day ultimate.

Ive got to transfer my tesco clubcard points to virgin air miles to take another few hundred £ off the holiday

I tried to upgrade the Magic Bands to the patterned ones but Disney have run out of stock atm, so will keep an eye on that.
I am getting an email a day from Touring Plans as the park hours are announced, so that’s quite exciting.
We’re almost at ADR day and happy to be on the QSDP as the only TS place we’d consider going to is the Space restaurant. We very rarely eat out at home anyway, DH is jaded by too many years travelling for work. 😁

I'm there in November too
We fly on the 31st October but check-in at The Wilderness Lodge on the 2nd for 12 nights. 😀
