Thank you - a relaxing day was needed Thanks for reading - hope you enjoy the rest of the trip with us Glad this report can be of help to anyone travelling to Miami -0 we probably missed loads as we just needed a quiet relaxing start to the holiday - it helped us on our road to Orlando Despite the prices this part of the holiday really did set us wondering about how much we would want to go back and see South Beach again - it is on the list for the future Great hotel and eth whole of the Art Deco bit resonated with us so much. Thanks for reading and your lovely comments

A great first day.
I went to Miami many years ago, the year 2000 in fact and didn’t really click with it. Possibly as I was 12 years old and just wanted to be in the parks at the time. Looking at the photographs, it definitely interests me in returning as it looks lovely. |

Had never been before and I'm not sure if I am keep to return in too much of a hurry, simply because of the cost of the place, everything was so expensive
The art Deco area really took me by surprise and I would return just to see that once again. Glad you enjoyed reading our first day and hope you stick with us until the end

It's always the night before we travel that I really struggle to sleep. Before our first trip I managed about 2 hours. At least by the end of travel day I'm usually so shattered I actually sleep quite well until the ridiculously early wake up.
Some lovely photos of today. |

There is something always so exciting about each trip, I understand your night before sleep and I have to admit the place we were staying allowed for such a good sleep until that 'Silly O'clock' wake up
Glad you enjoyed the photos Thank you The district with all the Art Deco buildings is rather special and well worth seeing. It changes throughout the day , just as the cliental in the area changes too. Breakfast , lunch, dinner, then night time party place too. It caters for everyone. Stunning buildings and as you spotted they look great when lit too.

All the buildings look beautiful both in the day and lit up at night. Your hotel seems great too. A nice first day getting settled in.
