Exactly, maybe we're missing something

I have a corner sink and a corner loo gives so much more space

My friend had just come back from Japan and showed me a picture of a toilet where the sink was built in above the cistern, shui the hand washing water fled the track I think... good recycling, not sure a but standing over a toilet though 😂

Thanks for this thread OP! We’ve just been discussing the sink in the downstairs loo. It managed to get chipped somehow plus the pipe work underneath is visible and we’d like a cupboard. I loved the little rectangular sink someone posted a picture of.

I would need to be on the PC to find a picture of what I mean but you can get sinks that are 18" square but only 6" deep. They are fed by a tap built within the unit.
You see them in places where vandalism is prevalent as they are so close to the wall there is little to damage.

The other advantage is that if they are going onto a stud wall they can be cut into the wall so only about 1" sticks into the room.

It is quite cosy, but it's a cosy bathroom we have! I will upload a pic when I get home. As it's not a main bathroom it doesn't get used all that much, so we were quite happy to have a larger shower than a big sink

I wasn't saying anything about it in a rude way, I just wondered how it worked.

We also have a very small downstairs bathroom with just a toilet and small corner sink - this thread has made me look at new sinks as our bathroom could do with updating.

Don't worry, wasn't offended! I have No Idea about the logistics of how it actually works, although my builder was quite impressed!
