Natsynoo's Perfect Panamian Adventure: DCL EBPC Oct 2018 - Day 15 Cozumel & Halloween

We woke up at 7.30am and laid in bed for a while before getting ready for breakfast at 8.15am.

Today was Halloween!

Today’s all ashore time was 9am and we wanted to be on time because the sooner we were off, the sooner we’d be back to enjoy the ship. We were supposed to be going to Mr Sanchos Beach Club today but we cancelled it earlier in the trip, when the weather had been a bit iffy and when the time was going so quickly, to enjoy as much time on the ship as we could. We were glad we made that decision but would like to go to Mr Sanchos one day.

We were actually able to leave at 8.45am that morning, and wandered around the port (mainly full of souvenir shops). It was Day of the Dead/Dia de los Muertos and we were actually quite disappointed about how little recognition the port had given it. We were in Mexico after all! We decided to wander over to Mega, a massive supermarket (a bit like Walmart) to have a look. We found a Doc McStuffins PlayDoh set for Molly and Matt wanted some more Coke, which came to 311 Pesos in total (about £12).

This was our last time seeing the ship from the outside, during our cruise, so we had to get all of our pictures!

We found ourselves back on board by 10am, and by the pool at 10.15am – good effort!

Today was HOT! But it was bliss! We made the most of every second and spent another day actually mostly sat in the wet seating area of the pool. I had my Kindle in there and it was just so lovely!

Lunch was poolside snacks today, and we opted for another day of pizza and chicken tenders. Simple but yummy!

Matt decided to have a peak in Cabanas and they had gone all out with the Halloween décor. It looked fantastic!

We had an ice cream in the afternoon, but otherwise, just enjoyed more time to chill.

At 4pm, we went back down to the room as Matt had had enough sun for the day. I took the opportunity to do some packing and then to get ready.

Our first activity of the evening was to be the Trick or Treating! I was so excited that we were able to do this, because I had read online that it was for children only. I’m not sure why we were allowed (special voyage, not many kids…) but a bag had been left in our room so off we went! There were 7 stations around decks 3 & 4, and we soon filled up our bag. And the best bit was that it was all quality stuff. At MNSSHP in the past, we had a bunch of stuff we didn’t like or want. This was all Mars stuff, like M&Ms, Twix, Starburst, etc. We loved it!

This was our stash…

Next up was the Mickey’s Masquerade Party in the Atrium. Another typical character dance party on the ship (similar to Sailaway and Pixar Pals) but still fun to watch and a great vantage point for the costumes that people were wearing on board!

At 7.30pm, it was time for Movie Tunes Trivia in the Crown & Fin, and we performed just as appallingly. It was still fun though! We had a couple of drinks, which came to $10.29.

Dinner tonight was at Animators Palate for one last time.

We both started with the Malaysian Chicken Satay

I also had the Mushroom Pursiettes as they sounded similar to the ones earlier in the cruise

Matt had the Beef Wellington

20181031_210432 by Natalie Pope, on Flickr

I had the Rack of Lamb

IMG_1743 by Natalie Pope, on Flickr

Matt finished with the Chocolate Decadence

20181031_212613 by Natalie Pope, on Flickr

I had the Celebration Cake

And Nathan brought a special Halloween dessert for Matt

There was a controversial moment during the Animation Show tonight where someone had drawn something against the rules but it had already been scanned on before they noticed so it was included in the show. It was the talk of the restaurant!

After dinner we went to see the adults Ventriloquist show by Michael Harrison, and then watched the Adult Costume Contest. People really went all out, it was a lot of fun!

At midnight, it was bedtime – and another favourite towel animal!

We were also left a special lithograph from our voyage – a lovely touch!

Haha well the artist was called ‘Mr Killer’ and the person in the drawing was wearing a T-shirt that said ‘I Kill You All’

That’s not as bad as I was expecting! Still very un-Disney
