Depending on hotel depends on which they will allow to drop off as I know Disney don't allow all companies.

We use Buena Vista Rental and they have always been really good. Its worth checking with the hotel (or look on Disney website and it will say the ones they recommend which are the ones they allow on site)

Gold Mobility Scooters. I have just booked with them. They have absolutely rave reviews on The Disboards, on Trip advisor, on their FB Page and elsewhere. I just booked with them for Feb and am really looking forward to it.

All scooters are less than 6 months old and most less than 3. The all have extra lights, a charging port and an onboard fan and other extras. You also get a 24/7 personal contact. The cannot leave with Disney Hotels for you to pick up, they need to meet you for pick up and drop off. They are the cheapest, but have a minimum 7 day rental with $10 each extra day.

Check out the thread on Disboards. You should be able to find it in a search.

All are allowed on site. Disney’s ‘featured’ vendors pay them a fee in order to be able to leave them with Bell Services for you to collect and drop off. A very few vendors won’t meet you in the park and you have to bring the scooter out (avoid those ones), but just because a vendor isn’t on Disney’s site as a featured vendor doesn’t mean they’re not allowed. It just means you have to meet them to pick up and drop off your scooter.

Ah good to know! I know last time the vendor said something about they couldn't come so maybe it was that they couldn't leave it with the bell hop.

If you are a regular visitor and always need a scooter it is worth doing the maths to see if it would work out cheaper to buy a new scooter at home and take it with you (airlines will transport it for free if you pre arrange).

A typical Pride Go Go Elite Traveller Plus as used by many of the hire companies in the US can be bought for around £500 on line. With the advantage you have it to use at other times as well.

May be worth a look.

Although you then also need to have room to take it with you in terms of transport to the airport. This was our main reason for not doing this for my sister as we worked out fitting it in the car with cases and us was not doable. In Florida we have a people carrier so that we don't have this issue.
