Yes you just need them loaded on. Then when they are loaded on, you’ll have 256 points for your August trip and you can borrow another 150 if you want. You just need the points to be in the use year when your trip is, it doesn’t stop you booking before that use year starts.
As I say though, even when the contract is on and your account open, they seem to be really slow at mo loading the points on the contract.
So don’t panic if you see the contract there, but showing nil points initially.

Ive just emailed them to ask them to get a move on loading the points on- still not on 5 days at least after it the contract was logged (and I know they just haven't got around to it as points for 2021 are not showing either). I want to book my SSR 1 bed for Xmas in 3 days - albeit it won't go for a long time so I am not too worried- should still be there after 7 months.

well I got through to admin today and the acknowledged that they had my contract but hadn't transferred ownership yet so were unable to give me my membership number :-(

For those waiting apparently they are up to those received on 9th at the moment, mine wasn't sent until 15th.

Bummer.

It's a lot slower than it used to be- are they that much busier, or is this deliberately so? The whole process seems a lot more painful that it was when i did my last resale only a few years ago. Worth it though when you count the money saved in the bank.
Mine closed on the 4th, not sure what day it was sent but it the contract was loaded at least 5 days ago. Points still not on. My agent said currently they are taking 10-14 days from the closing email which is tomorrow.

Tom are you at SSR this time or is this the villa trip? Not sure where you will be Tweety?
