Watched the Boardwalk Empire in late Autumn and really enjoyed it. Have now downloaded the whole of the Sopranos and going to start watching it tonight.

But, Game of Thrones starts again in April and I only watch 1 hour of TV a night so may have to put it on hold for a bit whilst GOT is on.

its a prequel set late 60's in Newark

from what ive read it centres around Dickie Moltisanti (Chris's dad) and rest of the crew incl Johhny Boy & Junior

Oh that sounds good we will deff be watching it. I wonder if Olivia will be in it? it would be interesting to see her as a young person.

Oh man! I can’t believe it’s 20 years old. I absolutely love The Sopranos, quite right those who say the best TV ever made.
I must have watched it end to end about 8-10 times now. It’s our go to when there isn’t anything else.
My favourite episode is Pine Barrens , I love it when Christopher finds the sachets of pickle and when they are wrapped in a disgusting carpet
But I love the scene in the pilot where Carmel hears a noise outside and goes into the hidden cupboard in the lounge and brings out a huge rifle. Makes me laugh every time.
My favourite is Tony, can’t be anyone else, but I love all the characters.
The only one I really didn’t see the point of was when his cousin came into it which Steve Buscemi played.
Will have to start it all off again to mark the anniversary.

After all the hype I watched it. Loved a few episodes but then found it violent and a terrible abuse of women on TV.

In the end, I wondered why I watched such rubbish. Sorry thought it was a waste of time in the end.
