Some more info here: wdwmagic/resorts/dis...era-resort.htm

Regarding the Tower studios, it says:
Unique to Disney Riviera Resort will be new, specially designed for 2 Guests, Tower Studios. Built into the wall, you’ll find a kitchenette, drawers and a hidden pull-down queen-size bed that tucks away to reveal a comfortable lounge-worthy space. Tower Studios are the lowest priced rooms, starting at $335.

Ridiculously expensive IMO!

I could see myself trying the tower studio for a couple of nights when travelling solo.
Could be fun and it would let me try out the resort without spending too many points.
Just need to wait and see if any will be available when it's time to book.

Just looked at the pictures and what's to stop Carribean Beach guests walking over to the pool via what appears to be a pathway and using it? The locked gates can be tailgated!
The resort looks massive and the pool is already likely to be well used.

This is what I wonder, I don’t like having a DVC resort so close to such a massive moderate.

Whilst the Riviera does look massive doesn’t it say it’s only 350 rooms?

I guess it's no different to any other resort with gated entry at the pools. Nothing to stop people pool hoping and trying to tail gate if they really wanted to. I guess the main difference here is the accessibility from CBR, although the BW and BC are right next to each other.

If its low enough in points then we would consider it for the arrival night.

Disappointed in the 1bed layout. We have two grown up children so the BLT layout is perfect with 2 bathrooms and the sleeper chair, I don't want them in my room!

Yes it is a downer they put it in the main bedroom. Suspect there may not have been enough room in the lounge. BLT, AKL Kidani and OKW are still the best layouts 1 beds.

I'm confused. According to the floorplans for the 1 bed, the pull down is in the living room, not the main bedroom.

Pity about the second bathroom, but I wonder if that's the compromise with this being a lower points value resort? At least there's separate access so people don't have to go through the main bedroom

In the living room it's a Murphy sofa bed.
In the bedroom the small under TV Murphy seems to be in there, at least according to the plan I looked at.

Just looks like a piece of standard furniture to me. Nothing to indicate that it's a bed or pull down of any kind like all the others do (living room Murphy bed and sofa bed). The details for the 1 bed villa says they sleep up to 5, so that's 2 in the main bedroom and 3 in the living room.
