We love the Farmers Market at Winter Park. There's some lovely shops there and many bars and cafe's and there's also a Cheesecake Factory there.

The town square is very pretty and the massive Amtrak trains are fab to watch as they come in

Ha ha I didn’t realise it was so far away. I will look at the Uber as for the first part of the trip we have no car so if we can get there by public transport that would be fab

We have been to Winter Park a few times and really enjoy a day out there but last time we went we used the train whih stops right in the middle of town. The line has now been extended and starts in Poinciana but we caught it on Sand Lake Road from just past Florida Mall.

Just remember it is cash only. Threw me as someone who only uses a card ! Good trip though - enjoyed it a lot .
