Eating at Gatwick
We are travelling to Gatwick the day before our flight and staying at the Hilton (cheapest deal for family of 5)!
Just wondering if anyone has any suggestions of somewhere to eat in or around the airport within walking distance (reviews of restaurants at the Hilton are very hit and miss). TIA

A couple of years ago now, but we had a decent meal at Giraffe in Gatwick when we stayed at the Hilton.

There’s a weatherspoons in the south terminal which we enjoyed in April. We paid using an app so it was quick and easy
 Planning on going there again for our Hilton stay next week.

Another vote for Giraffe in South Terminal. Had a lovely meal there a few months ago.

We stay at the Hilton pre flight each year and if you're looking at breakfast I wouldn't bother with some of the stuff served up in the airport. It's a Hilton buffet breakfast for us every time. Not cheap but a fantastic selection, all you can eat and superb food.
