Is there a knack for booking tickets online...
... or is it just pure luck falling in your favour? Going to try and book tickets tomorrow at our local theatre for Ricky Gervais’s warm up shows. First time he’s been down our way, hoping to get some for our son as a birthday present. I was traumatised about 4 years ago when having to book to take our daughter to said theatre for when David Walliams came down to talk about his books. I’m sweating just thinking about it! Managed to get two, one for me and her, but none for my mum or son. It was a total bun fight.
I’m having flash backs, it’s not good lol. Deggs x |

Not sure if this will work for you, but when our local theatre say bookings open at 10am, they actually open the virtual queue about 2 hours before, worked for me with Gary Barlow tickets, when the official bookings open you’re already at the front of the queue x

Trouble is I’ll be at work, so I’ll have to run and hide somewhere lol. It says on sale from 10 and I’m at work for 8.

I'd always try and book tickets direct through the theatre website or phone their ticket line rather than going through Ticketmaster etc, lots of people go through the TM route thinking it's the only option.

Well done, enjoy itcIm sure it will be great.
We managed to get some for Michael McIntyre’s warm up shows. Saw a top notch comedian in a small venue at a really cheap price. It was pot luck getting the tickets though. |
