Stripes on a mini Cooper

I am buying a Mini Cooper and it doesn't have stripes on it. I really like the stripes but can't decide if I should put them on or not.
What do you people think?
Are they just for boy racer types 😂

I think stripes on a car are fine if it's the right car and usually a fast/performance car. Personally I wouldn't have stripes on a mini cooper (but I am like Victor Meldrew).

I’ve got a Mini Cooper S. no stripes. But a different colour roof.
Stripes look good on a cooper! Depends on what colour mini though I think.

I’ve got stripes on the front bonnet (black stripes on dark grey mini with black roof) - I like them

I used to have a red mini and got the stripes put on. It just didn’t look right without

I had them on mine! Was pearl white with black stripes on front and black roof. More a classic look than boy racer I think on a Mini!

It's red all over. I thought the stripes would give it that bit ... something lol.
I always admire the stripes on mini's. I love the union Jack roofs but my husband thinks it's too much 😂

On a red Mini, I wouldn't, but that's only because the red is so nice I wouldn't want the clutter of the stripes. I like the plain, glossy red.

...But, if you love the stripes - why not?

I do really like them. Always catches my eye and looks so suited to the mini.
Would have loved the union Jack roof but I prob would get tired of it after a bit.
