Can I go twice in 6 months and use same tickets?

So I've found a week in August and 6 days at Xmas for really cheap, can I buy Disney and universal tickets but use them for both trips? Heard something about annual passes but can't find out how to do it or the cost involved, can anyone help😀

So standard tickets typically last 14 days from first use. Annual passes are probably the best bet for you. You can purchase them online directly with Universal and Disney (although Disney is a bit more fiddly and recently people have had to phone to order as the website has been playing up). With Disney you get theme park parking included with annual pass. With Universal it will depend which pass you buy as to whether you have parking or not. Parking is typically $25 (or more depending on when the next parking rise is) so the difference in Universal annual passes needs to be factored in for this one. We worked out we wouldn't visit enough for it to be worth it - 4 trips needed when I looked last september and was only planning on around 1 that would need parking (others had hotel stays where we had to pay for parking anyway). Also for free parking only one of the party need the full Universal annual pass the others can have the non-parking ones so this can save a little bit of money

Upgrading universal passes is much much cheaper than upgrading the Disney passes. I’m sure we paid something like $45 to upgrade dh 14 day 2 park ticket to the one including free parking. So within 2 visits we’d got that back and then we got discounts off food and purchases too

Buying annual passes for universal in the first place is better value.

Did you have to do this at the parks or did you do it before you arrived?

They are going to be vague because it will be down to the FX rate on the day of the upgrade, it isn't like they decide that your UK pass is worth X & then guarantee you will pay Y. You also don't necessarily get what you have paid, you get the "wholesale" price.
