Me and Mrs MH were in a garden centre on Sunday (Todds Hall Henley - lovely home made cakes in the coffee shop), and we saw some nice plants, but like you it is too early to risk spending money and the frost killing them).

Did you mean Toad Hall?
One of my fav garden centres if it's the same one (on the way out of Henley).

I've been thinking about cutting my lawns, mainly to discourage the local cats from crapping in it. Think I'll wait till I'm back off of holiday.

last cut of 2018 was first week in Dec, first cut of 2019 was last weekend.

Lol, sorry yes I meant Toad Hall, and yes just a mile or so from Henley town centre (I don't like the starbucks in the high street though - very scruffy).

Funny you say about cats because my neighbours have loads of cats and I think I caught my dog eating some of their poo on the lawn a couple of weeks ago, so perhaps more reason to cut the lawn at the weekend.

It was quite pleasant today! I once went to Bournemouth and everyone was sunbathing while I wore my winter coat. I can’t wait for some hot weather but today wasn’t it for me, Florida in August now that’s a scorcher!
