I’ve heard most of these and had them said to me... but I’m from Yorkshire why say what you mean when some expression makes more sense lol... worse though I’ve said a lot of em to my two girls.

Hurry up you’ll meet yourself going backwards... that was a good one when I was dragging my heels.
