Dad Have We Done This Before? Day1
Day1 Thanks to our decision to do a little more on our arrival night we all managed to sleep a little later than normal on the first night, Tracie and myself woke a little after 6 with the kids waking an hour later just after 7. No early starts planned as I had the car to pick up from the car care centre Claudia asked to come with me, called Alamo just after 8 and they said it would be 9.30 before they could collect us, we were picked up on time and back at resort at 10.10 with a black ford escape. We were heading to Epcot today to tie in with a ADR at beaches and cream for lunch, left the car and used the disney transport and got to Epcot around 11ish, don't know the actual temp today but it was very hot. We had missed breakfast so stopped at Starbucks for a drink and some cake ($28) to tide us over until lunch, after this we did the Nemo ride then a little visit to club cool before heading for the international gateway and onto the beach club for lunch. Really enjoyed lunch today, I had the pork belly sandwich, Tracie had a hot dog n fries, kids had a cheeseburger and mac n cheese both with fries followed by a mickey sundae, Tracie and I also shared a Sunday ($67 inc tip). Three brave families all ordered the kitchen sink as we were leaving, defo on a to do list. We slowly made our way back into Epcot, browsed some shops, used fp for test track and mission space, spent a little time in innovations then headed back to resort about 4ish for a quiet night at the pool. After a few hours in the pool I jumped in the car and headed to the Market St food court for some pizza and fries $28, Tracie sorted the drinks while I was gone, spent another hour or so in the pool after eating before deciding to call it a night. Kitchen sink Test track

Great day. Was the car centre easy to use? I'm thinking about getting MDE from MCO and then getting a car from the car centre after a couple of days and dropping off at MCO when we leave. First time on site and always picked up from MCO previously.
Would welcome your experience. |

Yes the car centre was easy to use, best to arrange pick up from resort the day before or very early in the morning if you want an early pick up, think it opens at 6am
