Possible flight delays-what do I need to know?

Ok, flying on Aegean from Heathrow to Athens, then Athens to Corfu on Tuesday wednesday.

The weather report is looking crappy for Athens and corfu Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and possibly Friday.

When the weather is that bad flights in and out of corfu stop.

If we are delayed what should we expect to happen?
Should Aegean put us up at Heathrow or Athens? What if it's multiple days?

***I know there won't be compensation as it will be weather related-not interested in that***

Just need to know what airlines are supposed to do in that situation?

I suspect you'd be flown as far as Athens - having you at Heathrow would cause more issues and be more expensive.

Once there you'd be entitled to food and drink, and accommodation if your delay is overnight or longer.

Just had a friend rtn from corfu, he said worst weather he has had there on years, rained nearly every day over the last 10 days. Shame he loves it there. Spose one bad year is expected.

Do you have a through ticket, or two separate bookings?

It's ok, panic over.
We landed a couple hours ago-really bad storm, thrown all over the place but down in one piece 😉

Glad to hear you are there in one piece, albeit shaken and stirred!
