How busy is it during July in DLP? As busy as Halloween school hols? Thinking of 5 days maybe around the 5th July. Also can you add invention brunch on to a booking through disneyholidays website

Possibly not quite as busy as the end of October holidays but it’s not quiet either. Most European schools start their summer holidays by the end of June.

May half term is your best bet if you are stuck to school holidays. It doesn’t coincide with other European school holidays.

If you are off w/c 25th May 2020 then it doesn’t coincide with Ascension Day either (French bank holiday on 21 May) so works out quite well.

The only holiday we get is the Monday off which would mean we would have to go fri sat sun mon which would mean all the weekend queues anyway. We only get that Monday off in May no other hols. Till end of June- end of aug

Is beginning of July just as crazy as Halloween week then?

No, but it is still school holiday period for much of Europe, so Spanish and French schools will be off so maybe not as crazy as Halloween, but not a million miles away.

May half term (in the week) is the quietest school holiday time you can go.

EDIT - just seen your other post about only getting the weekend off, avoid that weekend, because of the bank holiday it will be rammed.

If you can go before 5th July (when the French schools break up), it shouldn't be too bad,

Early July will be busy because of the main European holidays but looking at previous crowd calendars mid-week is showing as orange rather than red for Halloween week.

I also find the long park hours in the summer really help with the crowds - with the park normally open until 11pm everyday there's plenty of time to do and see everything at a leisurely pace.

We always went last week in June and first week in July, mainly because it was my dh birthday and our wedding anniversary. It is very busy because of the 4th July celebrations but the atmosphere is really great. We didn't mind it being busy. There are fantastic sales if you like to do a bit of shopping at the Premium Outlets. The downside is trying to park and getting into restaurants.

I think you might be referring to WDW rather than DLP?
