Motion sick
Hello. Can anyone advise? We are visiting Hollywood studios tomorrow and wondered if any rides like the Harry Potter one ... makes me very sick! Any I should avoid?

Star tours. I go on it, and then look at the floor for virtually all of it! Dh loves star wars and i feel bad sending him alone. Cant comment on the new star wars ride, i didnt go on that at all.

Star Tours and possibly the new Star Wars one (cannot remember the name at the moment). Interestingly Disney have fewer simulator rides (where there is a stationary screen and you move) than Universal. I always find that if I just shut my eyes on the "screen part" of the ride then I'm fine, although miss out on some of the experience.
Don't know what the runaway railway will be like when it finally opens in 2020, does anyone know? |

Star Tours made me feel a bit rough and Smugglers Run is a bit jerky (depending on your pilot)

Star Tours does it for me but not on the first trip - we did it once twice in a row and the second time I felt a bit meh coming off but not enough to ruin the rest of the day.
I don't do Toy Story Mania - that really makes me feel off but haven't heard of it affecting anyone else. Having said that RnR is my favourite ride and can do that over and over with out feeling iffy. |

The screens on TSM don't affect me but the sharp turns make my stomach go!

Definitely Star Tours! Don’t do that anymore because of that very reason!
