Dune

I've been waiting so long for this! Massive Dune fan. Read the books, loved the tv mini series and I even like the David Lynch version. If this is done correctly then this could be Lord Of The Rings good. Trailer looks amazing. No Feyd though. Rumour he's been dropped. Sting ruined him.

Every sci film ever made has nicked stuff from Dune. It’s the grandaddy of Sci Fi.

The trailer looked good but it’s so long ago that I read the books - nearly 40 years.

Trailer certainly has the wow factor - the cast list of stars is pretty impressive. I see Jason Momoa is playing the difficult role of Jason Momoa again.

I got a little bored of the books after the first couple and never finished the series but I loved the old Amiga video game.

i have seen the 007 trailer at least 20 times and still dont want to see it with my unlimited card.

Seen the Dune trailer once and I expect to see it twice or more. Looks so good I hope it is good.

I'm still in trauma from the Sting version. If that's the best bits in that show reel, I think I'll pass on this unless the reviews are extraordinary ...

I’m so excited! I reread the first book during lockdown and recited the Litany Against Fear under my breath during several trips to the pharmacy and the supermarket 😂
The cast looks incredible. I’m wondering where the first film will end- will we get to see Feyd, Alia or Princess Irulan or will we have to wait for part 2?
I’m also very unsure about the sandworms...apparently the director always uses eye-themed imagery so the mouth is meant to be a human iris. I can’t be the only one who sees a very different part of human anatomy 😂
