I loved ROL - was really looking forward to seeing it again next visit. Hope something replaces it - AK needs more to justify evening visits.

Disney have many times over the years ‘postponed’ things which never make the light of day. Under the current (understandable) cost constraints they will he doing everything they can to reduce costs. I think you’re right about Spaceship Earth ‘needing’ some refurb though, I can’t remember why exactly but I hope this means they do a light touch job rather than close it for years.

Oh no! I love primeval whirl! It's one of my favourite rides for it pure simplicity & retro feel! Plus who doesn't love getting throw around the corners?! LOL there was always a full queue for it when we went.
We loved rivers of light as well. Only saw it for the first time last March & we loved it as a relaxed spectacular. As for stitch, no tears there! We did it on our first trip 12 years ago & not once in the 7 trips since!

I really liked Primeval Whirl, I have been disappointed to find it would not be open on some trips. We have looked in on ROL a couple of tines but it has never held our attention for more than a minute or so, but I do hope they replace it. I didn’t know there was a Stitch show in AK.

I was never interested in the Stitch thing anyway and did not enjoy it’s predecessor so hopefully they use the building for something completely different. Primeval Whirl made me too sore to really enjoy it and while we didn’t ever see the whole RoL show we saw the back of it one night and didn’t feel the need to see it. I do hope they replace it though.

ROL was the worst show I have seen I wondered whether it was something designed by Merlin Entertainment Group As It’s about the level I would expect to see at Alton Towers.
My wife really loves it though,p |
