Tickets extended for 2021 but what happens if...
So our trip in June was cancelled.
We already had our universal and seaworld/Busch tickets in hand from orlandoattractiontickets. They have told us we are covered by ticket guardian for a full refund (minus £10pp) or alternatively the tickets have been extended til end of 2021. We plan to go in June 2021 so would be fine just keeping hold of them. But, the way things are going over there we are getting a bit worried that flights will still be off/parks closed etc. Defo don’t want to book anything until we know what’s happening with the world. Probably around February. Have just spoken to OAT to ask if I’m February there was still no travel would we still be able to return the tickets. They said no. To be eligible for a refund the tickets would need to be returned by end of August this year. So, we now need to either return tickets for refund and then if travel is ok buy again (at increased cost) or keep hold of tickets and hope for the best! Is anyone else concerned for next year? Or is anyone here in the same situation? Maybe if travel is still off next year the parks may extend tickets once more? |

I was in the same situation (same company and tickets) Undecided about going in 2021 after thinking we would initially so returned the tickets. I can live with losing £50 but would be kicking myself if we had near enough £2k of tickets we couldn't use.

I have had my tickets extended to 30/09/21 and we are planning to re-book for May 21, but I have just decided to send them back and get a refund, and I am now planning on buying 2021 tickets from Attractiontickets.com with their flex-plus option, so if we cannot then go next year, I will be able to get my money back, it does mean an extra £60 each, but I think it is worth that for the peace of mind

Thanks all. We have sent them back for refund minus £40 admin. 30-60 days for refund now then we will place deposits for next year. Couldn’t risk it in this unpredictable time!

Those who have managed to get refunds, can I ask when you bought the tickets please? We ordered in December and paid balance last month for October on 4 ultimates but flights now cancelled.

What a shame! Ours are Disney Ultimates so not sure if they will refund or not. Have emailed them to ask as even if they are intended until end of September next year, the earliest we could possibly go is next October.
