Chilli lasagne?

Hi all,

So we have a minor problem in that we haven’t labelled some of our frozen food! 😂

We both ‘examined’ what we believed to be a portion of Bolognese, but now that it’s defrosted it turned out to be chilli.

I had the cheese sauce made and the pasta ready, so I’ve gone ahead and made a lasagne anyway - anyone tried chilli lasagne? Was it ok?

I think that would be lovely. We make chorizo lasagne and it’s delicious.

Go for it and try it. Whatever the responses on here ... as long as its food safe by the cooking standards. We often have weird food meals.

I always put chilli flakes in my lasagne. I’ve also thrown a jar of chilli sauce in when I ran out of Bol (before I learnt to make my own!). It’s so much nicer with a bit of a kick to it!
Enjoy!

Mexican lasagne is something that is loved in my house. Bolognese replaced with chilli and lasagne sheets replaced with tortillas wraps baked in a sandwich tin (deep). Crushed tortilla chips and chilli cheese on top and it's amazing.

We've had Chilli tonight, instead of rice we have it with tortilla chips (Tesco Nacho cheese hold their crispness best).

Layers of chilli, chips, fresh diced tomatoes and spring onions. Finish off with a grated cheese topping and baked in the oven.
