Gas repairs

Phoned British Gas to say we had no hot water, they came and fixed it within 2hrs. Very impressed and grateful.

That is great service. They haven't let me down in over 30 years. I have no problem paying the monthly fee for their Homecare policy.

You probably struck lucky as it's a quiet Sunday outside of the Winter hectic period.

It needed a new pump, apparently it was leaking and fused the whole lot!

Another happy homecare customer here... Outdoor tap leak - 4 hours after calling - fixed a cracked/perished/(or just a bloomin wrong use of that grade of plastic outdoors) waste water outlet pipe that we hadn't noticed at the same time - almost like the guy was desperate to have some work to keep him busy - said they kept getting cancellations from people scared to let them in.

Curry's (I know they have a bad rep on here) also came out and gave us our annual oven clean as part of the service plan. Sparkly clean... They have also had a lot of cancellations. He had someone ring to cancel whilst he was here, so gave us a free washing machine clean since he was training someone up and that was the cancelled next job!

"Would you like a free..." ermmmm ... yes please...

I had a kitchen disaster smack bang in the middle of lockdown , to cut a long story short I couldn't use the sink without flooding the kitchen due to a pipe shearing, this was 6pm on a Sunday evening, plumber was out just before 9am the next morning, didn't have the exact part needed, couldn't get through by phone or online to source it so took off in his van to search for it, I think he saw the look on my face when he said it could take a couple of days to source the part 😂 he was back within an hour and job done 👍 this was BG Homecare service. Couldn't fault them and it was all done with precautions and social distancing 😊
