Priority Card Access Pass for Cognitive Disability
Does anybody know how many documents / proof we need to take with us to get a Priority Card Access Pass for our disabled daughter? The website mentions proof of DLA, PIP, Blue Badge, and a letter from our GP. Surely one of them not all? Anyone have any experience? Also, we are first-timers; what does the Priority Card do? Thanks

Hi
If it works the same as the easy access pass ( which I think it is - just the easy access is for temporary illnesses ) then what happens is for each ride , you go to the cast member by the ride entrance , they will give you a return time and you return at that time to go through either a separate entrance or the fast pass queue . The return time we found was typically a third to a half of the standard wait time ( but of course you don’t have to queue ) . From memory you can’t hold more than one return time at any point

No worries - you can contact whoever you booked with (Disney direct? DLP website?) or simply mention it when you check into the Disney hotel at the front desk and the cost will be refunded though it may take several weeks. A google search might bring up a web address so you could send an email in advance. As mentioned earlier you need the blue badge or a photocopy of official documentation with you - it’s a good idea to use the photocopy as proof of the need for carer status.

My son has autism and we don't have to get a return time we are let in right away with the green card (to the disabled entrance). I think there is a different card that means you get the return time. This is why he likes Paris so much more than WDW.
For Buzz you have to wait for them to come to collect you which might take some time. This one does cause distress for us. And with Peter Pan the entrance is past the main entrance and you might not be able to see the ride for a little bit. Another one that causes us distress. Also they won't let you on the parachute drop ride if you have autism.

Ah right . Thanks for the clarification.Must admit the DLP website isn’t at all clear on the procedural aspects , or that the easy access pass and priority pass have different procedures . We have only had the easy access pass but from the below it just appears the only difference is one is for permanent disability and one for temporary illness .
