Mobile What’s The Most You Have Paid For Shoes?

Just curious what is the most you have paid for a pair of shoes/sandals/trainers?

I recently bought a pair of Hobbs sandals in the sale for £75 down from £210 and thought it was a bargain! DH thought it was expensive, what do you think?

Jane

I don’t ‘do’ shoes or handbags for that matter.
I live in Converse, so the most I’ve paid is around £55 😆

The most I’ve ever spent is £100 on a pair of leather boots. I’ve never bought designer label shoes though for 2 reasons 1) lack of funds & 2) I have wide feet & don’t think they’d fit/look right anyway.
I usually try to spend no more than £50 per pair of shoes/ankle boots (which is quite difficult when Clark’s prices keep increasing), so often I’ll buy in the sale where possible.
Last year I treated myself to a pair of Fitflops for Florida (about £45) and they are so comfortable. However as I’ve also worn them to work in warmer weather (and i’m on my feet a lot), they’re looking worn out. This year I managed to get some summery sandals from an EBay shop for £20 & they’ve been really comfy as well.
I remember years ago when my sister was getting married, we went to a wedding dress shop in London, then did some window shopping in Bond Street - on my gosh, can still remember seeing shoes for £500+ per pair - and that was about 20 years ago!

Just bought first pair of proper running shoes having completed C25K - £120. Figured compared to kit needed for some sports/hobbies it wasn't too bad but def the most expensive pair of shoes I've bought!

$570 for a pair of Manolo Blahniks. I have always wanted a pair so on a holiday in New York I gave in. They are so beautiful and I have never regretted it. Mostly though I tend to stay under a hundred pounds for shoes but might pay a bit more for boots. Dillards must see a jump in profits when I visit their shoe department.

Live in Reebok trainers, usually pay about $60 in the Outlet Mall, that's my limit.
