Curious about MK today

Was anyone at MK today?
We were there till about 3. We felt it was really busy. Probably the busiest I can remember. We even overheard someone saying they thought it was busier than Christmas.
It wasn’t a pleasant experience.
As the title says, I’m just curious.

We just got back, arrived about 6 as we just wanted to watch HEA, we thought it would be busy as today is the only day of the week without MNSSHP, as its on Mon, Tues,Thurs & Fri. So today was the only day we could see it as we leave Saturday.
We used 2 of our fastpasses then tried to get food at Caseys, but queues were so long & there were so many rude people about, we heard one woman pushing a stroller say as she steamed past, I'm only here one day & I 'll never see these people agian so I'll push past them!
We left at 8.45 without seeing HEA & ate back at the hotel.
So yes agree not pleasant!

Also only 1 ferry working & monorail rammed, so we got a freindship boat to the poly & walked back to the car, they even opened the side gates next to Caseys & we walked through the staff back area !

We’ve just made it back to our resort. I agree it was rammed today. Never been at Christmas, so can’t compare, but even the wait times suggested it was mad - an hour for the teacups at one point! We did ok though. We didn’t arrive until 4. We had FP for Splash, SDMT and Space, plus an extra one (due to some issues) which we used on Jungle Cruise. The FP waits were longer than average and apparently this was due to SM going down earlier, so we did wait for 15 mins for splash and 20 for Space. We fitted in the Tiki Room and Carousel of Progress too. We then had a booking for the dessert party (which was dinner - we’re on holiday!) and so had a good spot for HEA. Afterwards we managed Voyage of the Little Mermaid and Winnie the Pooh as walk ons, then stood in probably the longest queue of the day for a bus!

So yes, it was mad - as it has been all week - but I’d say with good planning and lowered expectations about how much is possible, you can still have a good time. Rude people are the pits though - and we did see some very blatant queue jumping on SM, which is always annoying.

I'm out here with family and they all went to Hollywood studios on Sunday and Magic Kingdom today, I didn't go as I'd only been to those parks last year. My brother said both days were a waste of time due to crowds. They left about 2.30 and went to guest relations to complain and got all their money back for both days.

It was 8.4/10 yesterday and the day before was 3.7/10.

The weekend was also busy at 7.7/10.

No idea why it is so peaky at the moment.

Sounds like the Halloween party causing issues- I'd avoid MK on the day between parties and go on a Halloween party day- then head back just for HEA another day

JUst think how busy it would be if all the Thomas cook people were there on top of that I know some will have been able to rebook for the same period but not everyone

We did think that as there wasn’t the Halloween party there would have been an effect.
We had already been earlier in our holiday so had done most of the rides, so yesterday, with it being our last day, was really about just having a wander and enjoying it. Well trying to.
