Memory maker pics gutted

We are here now and went to Mk on our first day did really well and did all mountain rides, went to HS yesterday did TOT and smugglers run ,I thought the pics were automatically uploaded to my account but nothing on their..now do you have to tap somewhere after the ride for your pic to be added? We didn’t know this so haven’t done it and am now gutted because we don’t have the pics 😪😪

We always tap where there are places to tap. I don’t think there is for 7DMT and possibly not BTM either. I don’t think there is a photo for Smugglers Run' I can’t remember if TOT is one you need to tap for.

Most of our photos didn’t turn up anyway and we never missed a tap. We maybe got about a third of our photos.

First, you don't get a photo on Big Thunder Mountain nor Smugglers Run. However, you should get one on Space Mountain, Splash Mountain and TOT.

The photos will only be automatically uploaded to your account if you have recent MagicBands. If you don't have MagicBands then you have to tap your tickets to the screens after the ride.

The photos can take a day or two to appear (so I wouldn't be surprised if your HS ones hadn't appeared yet). And, even then, sometimes they don't always appear. If they still don't appear in the Photos section of your MDE account (not the Memory Maker section) in the next day or two then you'll have to go to Guest Services and mention it to them. They should be able to find your photos and link them for you.

You have to tap for splash and tot , space . Slinky adds automatically so does mine train , if you see a screen tap it. There is a noticeable shortage of photopass people this year as well.

Make sure you are looking at all parks. Mine was filtered to magic kingdom so I couldn’t see any other photos but they were there

We tried that first: waited a really long time for a cast member to search for our missing photos for a few minutes and declare that he couldn't find them. Helpful (not)

The email option has always works for us. Helps if you know the time and have some description of what you were wearing (or can point them to a photo from the same day so they can compare).

We have new magic bands. Pics have always automatically loaded up. No need to tap.
