Please Suggest me a song for a staff Christmas choir
I say “ choir” in the loosest possible terms 😂
I work in a primary school and each year have organised a Christmas song for the staff to sing at the end of our school carol concert. We have previously sung Do you hear what I hear, Little donkey, Peace on Earth/Drummer boy, and a few others I can’t remember now. Any ideas for something suitable for this year? Not a traditional carol though because we’d have all sung those as a school. The other complication is we have no pianist so I need to find a backing track for whatever we do. Thanks for any ideas 😊 |

I think it’s called “Believe” the theme song from Polar Express by Josh Groban? Or how about a fun, catchy, one “I Want A Hippopotamus For Christmas”?!

Cowboy Carol
Calypso Carol I really like these two and I think either would work for school xx

I really like the "carol of the bells" (also known as "hark how the bells") if you can sing in parts. Works well without accompaniment.
Other ones "here we come a wassailing", "past three o clock", and the old favourite "we wish you a merry christmas". "Christmas is coming" is also a good one. You could always try the "one more sleep til Christmas" from Muppets Christmas Carol |

A simple one we learnt as a staff choir was Gaudeamus Hodie.
It's sung as a round but is comprised of 3 simple one line sections so sounds quite effective even if you only want to learn 1 line per group and keep repeating it Edited at 03:22 PM. |

Mistletoe and wine, or Marys Boy child. What about Rudolf the red nose reindeer the Simpsons version, the kids would love that x
