What happens if the holiday is cut short once you get there ?

This has probably been asked but I can’t find any information
We are weighing up our options
Have a flight from Newcastle booked on 17th august for 3 weeks
Say all goes ahead 🤞if we get there and after a week the rules change and we have to come back what happens
We booked flights through TUI and accommodation through travel republic.

Depends on so many variables.

Depends on what rules you are worried about changing; the rules in place now may no longer be in place in August.
What changes are you thinking of? US or U.K. rules?

When you ask what happens, what happens to what, eg, are you asking about arranging a different flight home, park tickets, refund for days now not stayed in accommodation, claiming on insurance etc?

In what circumstances & for what reasons would you see yourself ‘having to’ come home early?

I’m thinking if we check in for a week and government guidelines change and USA turns red, will Tui fly us home, will we get a refund on hotel accommodation and tickets once checked in. Thanks.

Tui are normally good at getting people home, if situations change.

Hotel depends on your booking conditions, is it a flexible rate? Booking via a 3rd party does tend to mean no refunds on early check out so doubt you would get anything back from that.

Tickets again the same, the parks will still be open so I guess no money back from that either, but will depend on where you brought them and if they offer any good will.

Just make sure you have decent insurance that will cover you for curtailed holidays then they should pick up the bill for any loss or help get you home. But not sure any insurance company will cover COVID related curtailment in this day.
