Dresses

Does anyone have a recommendation for reasonably priced dresses that would be suitable for a summer birthday party? I really like Boden but I can’t justify their prices for something I’ll probably only wear a handful of times, I’m looking for a midi/maxi dress with short sleeves x

They might be more than you had in mind, but I love Popsy dresses - I think their maxis are £48 with free delivery.

I also saw F&F had a couple of nice maxi dresses, if you have a big Tesco nearby.

I get loads of nice dresses from Matalan. They aren’t badly priced! I also get some from Next!

I've just had a look at Boden as I've never heard of them - remind me very much of Monsoon! Have you had a look on there? Some of their dresses can be pricey but they often have 10% / 20% offers on. Also have a look on Very. I've always found them to be very reasonably priced and good quality at the same time

Roman has some nice dresses very reasonably priced. I bought a couple of cocktail dresses for a cruise I went on - they were about £50 each.

Another vote for Apricot.
I was sick of looking for a, just above the knee, summer dress that wasn't too flowery and Apricot have some for £29. It's a really lightweight dress with very short sleeves so it's going on hols with me as it will be ideal for the Florida weather .

I've just had a couple of lovely dresses from Sugarhill Brighton. Everything I've ever bought from them has been great quality and lasts ages.

Thanks everyone, I’ll check these all out, I really should have asked this in my original post, but how are the sizings for the stores you’ve mentioned, I’m probably a 12 top 14 bottom, I know some stores do everything on the small size 🙀🙀🙀
