We’re going to Ibiza. It’s a shame they don’t offer it for usa as well though.

You all have to go, they check your passports any covid docs at same time and issue the boarding passes.
Did it a month or so ago to Spain |

We go to Jamaica next week, when I popped into the TUI shop to get my dollars, the women on the currency counter said to be see you using the bag drop at M/cr, I said no as it would mean us all going, she said no you just need your boarding pass and to have checked in online and only one of you needs to go, I said won’t they need to see us all she said no, I work at the airport helping out and it’s just the online checkin, boarding pass and your good to go, she did say it’s not all flights though, but Jamaica is one.
Hope this helps. |

Anyone checking in a bag needs to be present regardless of whether they did online check in or not. It's part of the Hold Baggage Reconciliation regulations. No airline should accept a bag if the passenger is not present, they have to identify them first.

Can only go by our experience but I think she told you wrong. We definitely all had to be present! My husband was queuing while I was playing with the toddler a short distance away and we had to all go over to the desk when it was our turn. We were all checked in online and had digital boarding passes but they checked us in at the desk too.
The night before drop was brilliant though, especially as we were worried about wait times for security and our flight was at 6am so didn't want to get there 4hrs early just in case! |

We are in Ibiza now and as long as you are all on same booking only one person needs to go with passports and vaccination proof.

I don’t know what the official answer is but I know Tui has let one person do it, I’m on a Facebook group for a hotel and quite a few mentioned dropping the husbands off to do the bags, driving round and picking him up- it was because it was a discussion around car parking.
