Spain and restrictions
Bit random but we’ve booked a last minute holiday to Spain (Cambrils) and wondered whether there was anything I should know concerning Covid restrictions (or otherwise) in Spain?
Do we need to wear masks on the plane there? I know you have to wear a mask on public transport but does that include the plane? Anything else? We are all fully vaccinated including boosters.

My son has just travelled to Granada and Barcelona , no masks were required on Ryan air or jet2 or in the airports .
Not sure on the airport transfer buses as you get mixed feedback but should wear then on public transport , medical and chemists .

we came back a couple of weeks ago and flew easy jet , we were asked to wear masks on the way there and back. On the airport buses at the airport we had too , we were waiting to board and they were insisting everyone show them their masks before they let you on. Despite wearing a mask we are sure my son caught covid on the way back , the two people next to him were coughing and sneezing then the lady was sick , 2 days later he was unwell with it. He was ok with it thankfully though.

Both my daughter and I flew out the same day to Spain on 31st May. She flew Ryanair (operated by Lauda Air) to Valencia and had to wear a mask for the duration of the flight. We flew to Tenerife a few hours later with jet2 and no masks required.🤷

We went to Salou with TUI in June and masks weren't required anywhere (Plane, Airport or Transfer)
We stayed at PortAventura and there was no requirements for any masks there either. Covid passes were checked at the Airport on arrival - both paper copies or the NHS app were accepted - and there were signs advising random people could be selected for a Covid test (though we did not see anyone selected for this) Other than that the only other Covid measures were hand sanitiser dispensers at the hotel and theme parks. |

We went a month or two ago. The only place masks were asked for was on the bus transport from the airport to the hotel, and on public buses.
I noticed on the return bus trip to the airport most people didn't put a mask on even though its supposed to be mandatory. |

Ok, so we did wear masks on the flight but didn’t have to - most people weren’t wearing them. There was announcement when we landed to say wear masks but, again, most people didn’t wear them in the airport and on the transfer coach. So it looks like masks weren’t really required. This was with Jet2 flying to Reus.
