DAS confusion
Just got a couple of questions about the new DAS system. How do you register to apply for DAS before we leave for our holiday please? Also, I know it's 2 attractions per day you can book in advance but is there a way to also book attractions using DAS whilst you're there or is it just the 2 attractions per day please? DS has major sensory issues so lines really exhaust him if he's waiting too long. Not trying to queue jump but would be good if we could get return times whilst in the park. TIA

Haven’t done it yet but you need to get a vpn to allow you to access the us site online.
You can book 2 rides per day in advance - once in the parks you can apply for a das return time as normal & you can do this via the app |

We are using it for DGds 2
We went on line on a Sunday right on opening time yes you have to wait a while When we got on the cast member just asked Harley his name ( we had a im not telling her my name she’s a stranger he’s 4 but she was happy with that ) We booked 2 rides for all 14 days that he can get on they were great but we’ve used it for second rides when wait time was manageable and DS and Gs1 are on rides that he isn’t tall enough for Yes you can add on on the day on the app if you can get the It to work I’d to go to guests services on our first day with an issue sorted in 10 mins |

To book on the day you open the map of the park you’re in and click on the ride you wish to book.
Click the name in bold and the next screen will load up a bit that offers LL and make DAS selection. You then choose which members of your party will ride. Just head back at your allocated time and once you’ve checked in, you can make another selection. I’ll try and get some screen shots later if you’d find it helpful |

We understand you can pre book two rides before your visit but when can you book additional rides via DAS when you are in the parks? Is it similar to the old fast pass system where you have to wait until you’ve entered the queue for your “last” pre booked ride or can you book an additional ride at anytime?
Don’t want to be travelling from one end of the park to the other because we can’t get times that suit

So for the in park ones you book on the app on your phone then go to the ride at any time from the start time. There’s no end time with the in park ones. But you can’t book another ride until you scan in but you do it on your phone. It’s based on current ride times so you can book anything.
So say you enter epcot and book ratatouille for 2 hrs away. Then do your pre booked when waiting. Head to ratatouille scan in and then whist in ratatouille queue book frozen. Then go round world show case have lunch whatever then scan into frozen and book test track. For example.

It’s a lot better than the old system as you can book any ride but the wait is based on the current ride time.
