Hi
When I went I had to take my own food as an infant price didn't include food and they wouldn't let me pay for a child's meal.

Would try calling Virgin to ask if it can be subbed to a kids meal instead as the baby meal is likely to be a jar of something

I'd ask virgin, if they are not paying child price as no seat they may not automatically be entitled to select a meal, but virgin might be able to help arrange something.

I’d take your own food that you know your child would like just in case.

I would take my own food even if they can arrange something... nothing like scrambling in bags trying to find "something" when the little one decides not to have the airline food

Way out we got some Ellas Kitchen pouches and way back was some local equivalent. We bought some things we knew they would like when we got airside in Boots.

If you contact them they will add a childs meal for you - not baby but it will just be the pasta

I called Virgin as travelling with a 16month old on lap, and they booked her the child meal rather than the baby meal

I too spoke to virgin, on their chat, and they said they’d request a child meal (although not guaranteed!)
I think it’s a bit odd that they would offer baby puree to a child over 12 months.
I may buy a sandwich at the airport for her!
