It was the Virtuosa that we sailed on on the maiden voyage last May, I agree she is a stunning ship, but it sadly did confirm my feelings that cruising just isn't for me, that's why I'm so pleased that we tried DCL as it's such a different experience, I don't think I'd cruise with any other cruise line now.

Do they need 2 jabs? And if so does there need to be a certain time lapse between them?
I do think its sad making the young ones have them. Just my opinion though! 🙈

Yes 2 jabs 12 week apart; we fly out on 3rd Aug. They should get 2nd dose early July

We have 3 rooms for 17th Oct for all the family. Just sorting jabs for grandkids now.

Please still both be very careful about the 5-11 year olds catching it in the meantime, even after the 1st dose. If kids catch covid before either their first or second dose then you have to wait 12 weeks until you can have the jab. Fingers crossed for you. We cancelled our wish cruise due to not knowing about the kids vaccinations but if we had kept the reservation, we’d know for certain now we can’t get the timeline to suit as our eldest had covid in March and so can only have his second jab at the end of august.

I’m booking a three night trip tomorrow. Hoping for 19th august but waiting to see when guardians is opening in Epcot and date is due to be announced tomorrow. Just want to get everything booked now as she looks amazing. Did the staycation on magic last summer and just got back from the dream last week. I need to get another castaway cay hit this year. Definitely my new addiction!
