Cancer Free & Booked - finally

I haven’t been on here for a long time. Covid times also brought me stage 3 bowel cancer, surgery and 6 months of chemo. I have just had my third, clear CT scan so I am finally good to travel.

We haven’t visited Florida since going twice in 2019 for our 25th wedding anniversary celebrations.

So Virgin got the call from me yesterday and I’m staying for a month and husband 16 nights.

OMG started to look at some prices for car hire and the price for 3 days at Universal! Recommendations of affordable car hire welcome please.

Not quite sure where we are staying yet but we are booked at Loews Sapphire Falls for part of the stay. When husband goes home I won’t have a car but will need transport so any tips of where to stay would be handy please.

Fantastic news for you! You must be so excited to return to Florida 🎉
Disney Springs area is so handy to stay at, we also used Lyft ( like Uber) which was really prompt and reasonable for getting around.
Have a wonderful holiday 😎

Fantastic news! The off airport car hire prices are definitely lower but it’s all so expensive. I’m like you looking for longer hires and it’s not been easy. Have an amazing trip!

Congratulations! And happy planning 😁

Have you tried Andy at DFCH for car hire? Still more expensive than pre covid but he can find some really good prices if you email him for an offline quote.
