Cancelling TUI transfer

Our holiday comes with a free transfer to the hotel (booked with TUI). We’ve now decided to hire a car, and no longer need the transfer. I’ve looked on Manage My Booking, but can’t find any reference to the transfer, or how to amend/cancel it. Do I just tell them at the airport we don’t need it?

I would treat this like those who have a fly drive but get a better deal elsewhere for the Car so don't even turn up and collect the 'free' one.

Personally I wouldn't bother ringing up and being kept on hold for ages to cancel it, if there was an E Mail address I would tell them. Otherwise just let it go.

I would do just like Mr Morrow, simply not turn up.

If you see or pass a TUI rep as you pass through the airport, it may be worth just telling them.. and no more than that.

Definitely tell the rep at the airport. They will have a list of people that they are expecting and they will possibly be waiting for you and potentially hold up all the other people on your bus before they eventually give up and leave.
Speaking as someone who’s been the one stuck on the bus I think it’s a common courtesy to let them know.

We do this. I just pop over and tell the airport rep so they don't hd a whole bus load of people up waiting for me.

I've been one of those people too! Please try and find a TUI rep at the airport and let them know. We've been sat on buses after long flights waiting for stragglers to turn up and all you want to do is get to the hotel.

I wouldn't bother getting in touch in advance though. I expect there will be plenty of TUI reps in blue polo shirts at the airport shepherding people towards transfer coaches and rental car collection desks.

Thanks everyone. We’ll make sure we inform the rep at Melbourne on arrival that we won’t be on the transfer.
